This HPD intercooler kit has been designed and created to suit Ford Ranger PK / PJ early models (2006-2011). The intercooler delivers reduced inlet temperature’s and engine running temperatures. The kit allows fitment of a winch and bull bar and re-positions the intercooler into a higher position that is less likely to suffer damage when off-roading. We also have a transmission cooler upgrade available for automatic transmissions. 

NOTE: If your vehicle is Automatic we suggest you order the automatic transmission variant of this kit below as you will have to fabricate new mounting brackets for your existing transmission cooler as the new HPD intercooler will move to a higher location and will interfere with the factory mounting location of the factory transmission cooler.

HPD intercooler kit is Specific to Colorado Early Model 2012-22 Oct 2013.

HPD's Hyundai iLoad intercooler was designed and built because of the many failures from the factory intercooler where the factory core would leak between the end tanks to core, as they are only press fitted with a O-ring in between, causing oil leak and boost leak resulting in loss of power and even turbo failure. HPD's intercooler is designed to give better performance, reliability, consistent and sustainable power. By reducing inlet temperatures, you will also reduce engine running temperatures. The late model D-MAX / MUX intercooler kit will fit 2016+ models that run the diesel particulate filter. 

How do i know if my kit is the late model or early model? 

The later dpf model vehicles will have a bright red hot side boost pipe from the turbocharger compressor cover down to the factory intercooler as shown in the image.

The Navara and Pathfinder STX 550 is a powerhouse in its own right with a 3.0ltr V6 Renault-built V9X motor putting out 170kw at the flywheel from factory. 
Shortly after the release of this vehicle a very apparent problem arose. The factory intercoolers would split away from where the end tanks would be pressed together with a o-ring between or crack the core within the first 100000kms causing boost leaking issues. On further inspection we found the factory intercooler to also be majorly restrictive and under engineered.
We set to delivering a solution to this problem and the HPD V6 Navara intercooler kit was born.
We designed a huge 600x300x76mm front mounted bar and plate core and wrapped it with 2 cast aluminium end tanks. Not only is this core going to have amazing thermal efficiency but the free flowing nature of a HPD core removed the restriction issue of the factory intercooler. 
Laser cut brackets and gussets were then TIG welded to the end tanks along with a billet CNC machined MAP sensor mount so that this cooler can be installed directly back on to the factory mounting points. Large aluminium mandrel bent piping was then added to compliment the quality and design of the rest of the intercooler kit.
Last we designed a Billet aluminium turbocharger adaptor to connect the whole kit to the factory turbo compressor housing. 

This kit's stunning looks are perfectly complemented by its superior performance and quality of build and we are confident you will agree.
Although Intercoolers will support cold charge air allowing a vehicle to be tuned to a higher power spec, rarely do they instantly produce detectable power with no other performance modifications or tuning. After testing the factory intercooler setup on the NP300 it became quickly evident that the intercooler was under rated for the performance of the YS23DDTT motor.
We set out to build a non invasive, direct fit intercooler with a HUGE capacity and no cutting or drilling.
What we developed has resulted in a direct bolt on kit with no irreversible modifications at all needed.

We have Designed a HUGE 300x700x60mm billet end tank intercooler to satisfy those who have taken their V8 landcruiser to the next level. With Intergrated mounts machined in to the tanks for the strongest mounting possible that has been buffered by rubber mounting inserts we are sure you will agree that this intercooler will compliment even the toughest builds. 

This kit has been fitted out with not 1 but 2 Australian made Davies Craig thermo fans controlled by a surface mounted thermo switch, meaning these fans are only on when you need them. To accompany these fans we supply a ready made loom including fuse and relay to connect your fans to the existing loom for ease of install.

Our kit boasts billet aluminium constructed intercooler end tanks. Combine this with our HPD strong bar and plate core construction and you have a product that is much stronger than an OEM intercooler, with better flow and thermal efficiency that sits neatly under your existing bonnet and utilises HPD's seal tray.
