With Intergrated mounts machined in to the tanks for the strongest mounting possible that has been buffered by rubber mounting inserts we are sure you will agree that this intercooler will compliment even the toughest builds. 

This kit has been fitted out with not 1 but 2 Australian made Davies Craig thermo fans controlled by a surface mounted thermo switch, meaning these fans are only on when you need them. To accompany these fans we supply a ready made loom including fuse and relay to connect your fans to the existing loom for ease of install.

Our kit boasts billet aluminium constructed intercooler end tanks. Combine this with our HPD strong bar and plate core construction and you have a product that is much stronger than an OEM intercooler, with better flow and thermal efficiency that sits neatly under your existing bonnet and utilises HPD's seal tray.

HPD's intercooler increases power by 6kw's at the wheels and reduces inlet temps by 20 deg's Celsius also leaning out the factory air fuel mixture allowing for more power and torque with tuning.

HPD’s 4WD Toyota Prado 120 series D4D 1kd-ftv intercooler kit has been designed as the factory intercooler is known to be quite small for its application causing excessive intake temperature’s and egt’s. the other known issue is that the factory intercooler also has issues with leaking where the end tanks are pressed onto the core with a O-ring between the core and tank.

HPD’s front mount intercooler is quite larger than the original providing better surface area for cooling and greater flow for increased torque and performance. In HPD’s Prado front mount intercooler kit comes new aluminium intercooler piping, quality silicon hoses, CNC boss’ for air temp and map sensor, German made hose clamps and laser cut stainless steel mounting brackets.
