We have equipped this kit with a HUGE 14” Davis Craig slim line thermo fan pulling over 1000cfm of air volume meaning you know that this intercooler is going to be efficient in maintaining a stable inlet temp, even when you have no natural air movement. We run this thermo fan from a surface mounted temp switch on the intercooler core so that your fan is only working when it needs to, this ensures the maximum performance and reliability you know and expect from a HPD product.

We use a Garrett turbocharger combined with braided oil and water lines, HPD CNC machined adaptor flanges, HPD custom manufactured 3" air intakes AND custom HPD dump pipes for high flow and OEM reliability.
EXHAUST:
When we designed and built this turbo kit we designed and manufactured a CNC cut, mild steel T3 - T28 adaptor base plate design allowing us to run garret GT28 turbochargers for performance and reliability.
This setup is complimented with a custom HPD 3” dump pipe with an EGT sensor provision for those who choose to run a Exhaust Gas Temperature probe for keeping an eye on exhaust temps. The benefit to this dump pipe is that it allows the owner to run most turbo GU aftermarket exhaust systems as a direct bolt on or even run the standard OEMINTERCOOLING:
Intercooling your turbo kit is important if you are looking to run more that 8-10psi of boost, however which intercooler to choose depends on a couple of things.
If you intend on towing a large load, live in a hot arid climate or decide to run a larger turbo option, then we suggest you should run our series 1 450 wide front mount intercooler, our series 2 top mount intercooler or extreme top mount intercooler as they are bigger and capable of a larger volume of air with a higher thermal efficiency operating at these more aggressive conditions.

When we designed and built this turbo kit we designed it as a direct fit kit using HPD's rear housing to suit Garretts core allowing us to run garret GT28 turbochargers for performance and reliability.
This HPD rear housing gives the ability to utilise the factory or aftermarket dump pipes, with the benefit to this it allows the owner to run most turbo GU aftermarket exhaust systems as a direct bolt on or even run the standard OEM the HPD direct fit rear housing also bolt straight onto the factory turbo manifold allowing for a perfect fitment.INTERCOOLING:

HPD’s Australian made billet CNC machined oil catch can / oil air separators have been designed to reduce the amount of oil from the engines crank case breather entering the intake system.
The issue is with the oil entering the intake system on modern diesel engines fitted with EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) where the exhaust gas valve is commanded by the ECM (engine control module) to open and allow exhaust gasses back into the inlet mixing with the oil that’s been left as a film inside the inlet manifold, thus this process just keeps on repeating itself, causing the issue of the manifold being blocked or clogged reducing the air flow to the engine’s cylinders, resulting in lack of performance, black smoke, engine wear and even engine failure.
HPD’s oil catch can / oil separators come in universal and complete kits with all required stainless steel laser cut bracketry, correct size hose tail fitting, washable internal stainless mesh filters, cut to size oil resistant hosing, bolts, nuts, washer, spring clamps and installation instructions for each vehicle.
