With the 2020 update to the 8th generation Toyota Hilux, Toyota made some some minor changes under the bonnet, so a new intercooler kit was required.
Our Toyota Hilux 1GD 2.8 front-mount intercooler kits are designed for the drivers chasing more torque and power from their 1GD. The intercooler provides better cooling ability and airflow to suit aftermarket turbos and injectors, supporting mods producing upwards of 200kw at the wheels.
We've recorded a 6kw power increase fom this intercooler at the wheels and reduced inlet temps by 20°C. It also makes the factory air fuel mixture leaner. allowing for more power and torque with tuning.
