HPD Intercooler's solid foundation is the Bar and Plate core. For tackling hours of rough tracks and corrugated roads, Tube and Fin cores simply don’t compare when it comes to handling violent movement, constant vibration or impact from road debris.
Its durability is a result of its construction from solid sections of aluminium bar, sandwiching rows of fin and braised in a furnace to form a highly robust, solidly bonded unit.
Thicker Core for Better Cooling Performance
Bar and Plate cores also have the advantage of easily being made significantly thicker than tube and fin cores. Thicker cores mean increased surface area and more fin for extra cooling performance.

"I had a PX Ranger plastic catch can from another company and have never really been happy with how it was installed. Extra hoses and elbows, brackets that worked but weren’t really great. Seen a picture of the HPD catch can and thought it looked a much tidier install. A little bit more expensive than the plastic one but I bit the bullet and purchased one.
It turned up and wow, what a quality piece of gear, beautifully cnc machined can and hose tails, laser cut stainless brackets. Certainly looks the goods that for sure. So the install was super easy and how neat it is, uses the original hose, just cut a centre section out and it connects up.
